Bulova Accuquartz watches were a bridge of Bulova model produced for a few years between the phase out of the Accutron models and the full switch to quartz movements.
This is a vintage Bulova Accuquartz wristwatch dated from 1973. It is a quartz watch powered with a battery movement Bulova 2242, 13 jewels, central second, day/date indicator and Swiss made.
Still has the original silver dial with gold/black stick hour marks, black minute/seconds track and luminous gold/black matching hands. The day/date window is located at 3 o'clock position. The dial is signed "Bulova Accuquartz" on top.
Cased in a 35.6mm gold-tone rectangular case, gold electroplate bezel and 10KT rolled gold plate back. Water resistant.
It comes on a brand-new black Hadley-Roma leather two-piece strap.
This watch has a new battery and runs properly!

We prefer to shoot photographs outside when weather is permitting. However, when we shoot indoors, please be aware that we shoot our photographs inside of lightboxes that are lit with 360 LED bulbs. This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust the lighting, when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.
